The 3GOXX16A4-XTR-1-1-Cert is an active L1/L2 dual-frequency GPS antenna. Measuring 89 mm in diameter x 19 mm in height, it is designed for airborne use but will operate in any mobile application. Customers can use the same antenna for L1 only or dual-frequency applications to increase flexibility and reduce equipment costs.

Suitable For Dual Frequency GPS Systems
The 3GOXX16A4-XTR-1-1-Cert antenna is suitable for use in applications using GPS L1/L2 dual-frequency systems. There are two major advantages with dual-frequency systems: Ionospheric errors that are inherent in all GPS observations can be modeled and significantly reduced by combining satellite observations made on two different frequencies; and observations on two frequencies allow for faster RTK ambiguity resolution.
