The GPS-700 series antennas are designed to be azimuth insensitive by having the PCO offet in the horizontal plane to be as close to the mechanical center as possible. There are slight offsets that occur in production (as seen in the IGS file) but they are only controlled to be within the specified region around the antennas' mechanical center and are not distributed around the IGS horizontal PCO measurements.
Therefore, orientating any purchased antenna that has not been individually tested similary to the antenna tested for IGS information will not improve accuracy. Because of this, a specific North orientation of the antenna was never defined.
