The SPAN-MPPC connects directly to our SPAN® OEMV­-3 receiver board to create a powerful OEM GNSS/INS receiver board stack. With a SPAN supported Inertial Measurement Unit (IMUs) and a dual-frequency GNSS antenna, a continuous GNSS/INS navigation system is created that delivers highly accurate position, velocity and attitude. Raw measurement data or solution data is output over several communication protocols.

SPAN­-MPPC Advantages

Tight coupling of the GNSS and IMU measurements provides more satellite observations and the most accurate, continuous solution possible. The SPAN-­MPPC has many powerful features including GPS + GLONASS capability and NovAtel CORRECT™ with RTK centimetre level positioning performance. A dedicated CPU for real time GNSS/INS processing results in fast data rates and low raw data and solution latency for highly dynamic or time critical applications.

Enhanced Accuracy and Performance

Support for L­-Band such as SBAS improves real­time performance and accuracy. For more demanding applications, our Inertial Explorer® post-processing software from our Waypoint® Product Group can be used to post-process SPAN-­MPPC data to provide the highest level of accuracy.
