RTK Base/Rover Setup Using RTCM

The following configuration will set up a base station and remote rover for both pseudorange-differential and full RTK using the RTCM differential correction format. These setups assume radio modems are connected to COM2 on both GPS receivers. Commands should be entered using COM1. The GPS receiver will lose the configuration when power is cycled to the unit, or if the GPS receiver is reset for any reason. If you want to make the GPS receiver remember these settings you can use the SAVECONFIG command to save the configuration to NVRAM.

RTCM2021 is also supported by the NovAtel GPS receivers, although it is important to note that RTCM2021 may not be supported equally across GPS receivers from different manufacturers. Here is the base station configuration for RTCM2021:

The Remote Rover configuration remains the same. If you want to only do pseudorange-differential, then only output RTCM1 at the Base Station. If you want to only do RTK, then do not output RTCM1 at the Base Station.
